D3 A8L W12 - PCVs
Hi
I have a 2005 A8 W12 which has quite a vacuum when running - noticed when checking oil. I suspect that the PCVs are sticking causing this. Before i start pulling the motor down to find them - does anyone have a diagram of where they are located? I assume they are under the intake manifold but just want to be sure. Also if anyone has had same issue would be good to know if I am correct in assuming it is the PCVs?

Both are located on each side in between the manifold and head toward the front side. Audi calls them "oil separators" and will have to be ordered out of Germany now. Ask me how I know. List price is $425.17 each but AudiUSAParts have them for $280.61 each. Part 07C-103-464-F for the right side and 07C-103-464-G for the left side. On mine, the plastic case split and caused a vacuum leak.
