Couple of issues
Hello, I have just purchased a 2009 Q5 3.2 and have a couple of issues.
First one is the 'media' button on the console. When pressed, I get a fuzzy screen which shows nothing. Ive looked on the net but cant find anything to help me.
Everything else works ok.
Second thing is, I keep seeing posts and videos on the 'dynamic' and 'comfort' options.
I cannot find this on my mmi. I'm presuming I don't have this option?

What's in the dash above the climate controls? Audi concert or Audi multimedia?
dynamic / comfort is an Audi Drive Select thing. Do you have a drive select button in the button row above the climate controls?

Hi. I have multimedia above climate controls.
Below yhe multimedia I only have an assisted parking button, 'esp off' and a car icon on a slope.

So you have MMI 3G: Basic if you do not have the joystick on the MMI dial; High if you have the joystick on the MMI dial. You might start with a scan for errors to see if the car knows something is wrong. If you go into Media and then Source, do you get a list of sources? youtu.be/B46lcL8Dcig?t=17 Or still a messed up screen? Image would be helpful; we can't speculate what you are seeing without such.
You do not have Audi Drive Select. If you did, the button unit on the driver's side would be moved to the passenger side and the drive select button unit would be on the driver's side: https://www.ebay.com/itm/155534085191

Just go ahead and press the Source button and see what happens. You know it's the upper right soft button when in the Media menu, so just go ahead and press it and see if it lights up red and if anything happens on screen.

There is an upgrade option for ADS but only for models with MMI3G and MMI3GP
