Q5 2014 2.0 TDI Parking Sensor Drama - Help
Looking for some advice.
A year or so ago hit a problem with my Front Parking Sensors. Basic scan with a cheap OBD tool came back with this
Which indicated the front passenger side sensor. Which I replaced. Error went away but sensors still didn't work.
Long bleep and flashing switch. No display. Scan showed the following.
Looking in the boot for the onboard control module I don't seem to have one? When I removed the driver side panel. Does anyone know if the sensors are controlled by the module under the steering wheel?
This weekend gave up and paid a hundred quid for an auto electrician to diagnose the parking sensor issue and reset the service interval reminder. Both of which he failed to do. OMG. I did get this though as the only fault using his VAG.
Can anyone suggest what this could be.
I was thinking. Remove front bumper and check harness and wires, check park assist control module if I can find it. Check front speaker and rear speaker?
