Hey guy I recently got a auction car Audi and been going through it and one thing that I need someone’s point of view on seems to be the abs module not working …
let me rewind a bit
I had a suspension compressor issue .. traced it to a broke brown line from compressor to power block .. it wasn’t long enough to make it fit so I ordered a new line .. but in the mean time I cut it out of the fiber taped harness and I may or may not have nicked on small wire in there … anyways I kind do some weird rigging just to see if the suspension would rise so it’s not even mounted and just is kinda hanging from the being line …
anyways that works suspension aired up and faults cleared

moving on I disconnected the batttery and let it charge over night … and then reconnected it this morning and I’m having a 00003 code controller malfunction or something
and I don’t remember if it came on when I barely snipped just the insulation on the side of one of those harness wires that run with the brown line .. or if it came on right with the battery reconnection…
one thing I do know is
the car hasn’t been driven any distance at all since the compressor is just hanging …
so I’m not sure if that fixes it
I’m not sure if the slight wire damage I nicked is actually the cause ..
and I would be lying if I didn’t do something stupid in vcds as I was in gateway 19 u checking things that don’t work like telephone and stuff … and I kinda maybe put it there … and I did the Ross tech recalibration of the steering angle and the controller code clears and pops right back up . Anyways ignore some of the codes cause they are simple as fuses and missing navigation dvd .. but I’m just wondering if anybody with much greater Audi knowledge sees something in the scan that could cause this or should I re solder thst wire … or does driving a little fix the abs control connection .. anyways I’m just waiting for my parts until then 🤟🏻 I’ll be wondering …
