2010 Q5 2.0 tdi- Ambient temperature sensor wiring
The ambient temperature isn't displaying on the dash. I considered it nothing but it now seems or appears that without a reading the compressor clutch can disengage. I have had an error reporting a short on the sensor too so this will impact the communication.
So hopefully, fix the ambient sensor issue and the AC works.
Replaced the sensor itself and the sensor socket so It's clearly a wiring issue between the sensor and where it goes to..... has anyone on here had this issue?... do they know where likely the wire may have been damaged and how best to access it?
Fingers crossed someone can point me in a good direction with it.
Just for info, system is pressurised, pressure switch replaced, the ambient temperature sensor and sensor housing has been replaced, clutch has no voltage/signal when AC button is activated and the AC has worked on and off (more off!!!)
