Default SQ5 Turbo Inlet Valve stuck open P22D2

Hi
I have a 2014 SQ5, car showed error waring lights, when scanned error P22D2 was the only code showing. Lifted the cover and the actuator on the lower turbo is not functioning when you cycle up the car. Top actuator works fine.
Car was driving fine, no over-boosting, running smooth as normal, not using any oil, did go into limp mode but still only showing the one error code.
Been told I have to replace whole twin turbo set up, which is a horrendous price. Someone must have done a fix for what just seems a stuck, dirty or fault actuator?

In North America the 2014 SQ5 should have a Supercharged 3.0T.

Simply to confirm in what country are you located and which engine do you have?

Hi 3.0 Turbo Diesel, New Zealand

Hello, I have the same error code, I replaced the solenoid valve but without result. Have you made any progress on the subject? I'll let you know if I make progress on my own.

Has anyone got anywhere with this fault? I have the same code. The car drives perfectly with lots of power. Some slight lag on acceleration that’s all. Worried it’s gonna fail and destroy the engine
