Default Change driveshaft, neutral or parking mode?

Hello everyone

I own a 2007 Audi Q7 3.0 TDI

For some time now I have had to replace the driveshaft bearing.
I bought the whole driveshaft given the age of the car (On Amazon from a manufacturer in Germany)

I removed the exhaust and all the bolts, but the shaft remains stuck in its base on both sides (no transmission flector on this model)
Pic below

My question is simple, because I applied force, penetrating oil and everything else.

Should I be in neutral or in park mode?

For the reasons for changing this part:
Vibrations at certain speeds
Rumbling like a wheel rolling
Feeling of instability in the car

Thank you for your clarification

Normally, you need to be able to rotate the driveshaft a bit to get at all the retaining bolts on both ends. Once all bolts removed there is still a splined shaft going into Transfer case and the rear differential, and as old as that is they will need some love taps, preferably with a rubber/urethane type of soft mallet designed for parts removals, to help loosen things up. The original production years are built like tanks, so it's gonna take some convincing to remove it.
