Negotiating items
I have an 01 A4 1.8T Quattro auto I'm interested in. I don't know how much to negotiate down on the flaws that I've found. I have found more rock chips than I can count on both hands. The rear bumper has been replaced due to a minor collision. The transmission has been replaced within the first two years of ownership under warranty for a leak. There are some scrapes on each wheel. (10 spoke 16" sport wheels) The timing belt/water pump/tensioner have not been replaced. (Car has 74K miles on it) Dash computer says brake pads need replacing, a rear brake like is out (all seem to work to me), and coolant is low (temp is running at the 50% mark) Any ideas on a reasonable qty to reduce from the asking price?
