Window Mysteriously Opening
My son's 96 A4 passenger front window is stuck open and will not respond to either door switch. He has also tried the key in the lock to close all windows. I believe it went down by itself also. Is this a known problem? I tried searching the forum, but have not found anything. Thanks. Steve

Probably the control module went south. I've never seen it, but have heard of it.
remove the interior door panel, unhook the harness, and fashion a jumper to apply + and - to the motor in such a way that will raise the window. I'd suggest keeping it unhooked till you can find a solution.
