jammed window!!!
The window does not respond to the automatic button, nor does it do its half-inch up/down action when you open and close the door. The passenger side window works fine.
What's odd is that I had the same problem a while back. I open/slammed the door and everything was back to normal. Then, like months later (ie, now), it is not working. And, no amount of door slamming has un-jammed the window.
Anyone know some tricks to get it working again? Shorting a fuse? Banging the door in a specific place, etc, etc?
Sadly, the forum search engine is down...
All/any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Jason

tried the fix that someone else recommended, which is from the A6 FAQ,
of rolling the window all the way up, releasing the switch, and then
holding it again for 1 second. This did not work for me though, so I
tried something else.
This is what I did, and it worked.
I rolled the window all the way up, and while still holding the button
in the up position, I shut off the ignition and then released the window
button. When I turned the ignition back on, the window worked fine.
I don't know if you've had this problem fixed yet, but hopefully this
helps you out.
Best regards, Tim M.
