Tiptronic advice

I just bought a '98 2.8 Avant with TIP. I haven't had an automatic car in over 20 years so I need a little advice. With my other Alfas, Audis and SAABs, I always used Redline gearbox oil, and was very happy with it's performance. What do you guys use in the TIP box? Should I stick with Redline or is there something else I should look at??

I would stick with the factory Audi oil

dont use Redline on the ZF tranny

Have been told by Redline, and Level 10 that the ZF trannys hate anything but the oem fluid, they are apparantly very very picky

wait, I think people use Redline D4 in LT 71141 applications with no problem

Also Amsoil says their ATF works in LT71141 trans as well. Valvoline recommends their Mercon V too. Plus Castrol Multi-vehicle ATF works, Pennzoil and QuakerState Multi-vehicle ATF, they all works.
