car is bogging and check engine is flashing
car has no pickup and is shaking when u give it gas and is shaking when it idles. only time it is smooth is when the car is coasting.
what is some of the troubled parts it can be?
help!

hey its funny you say that.
hes ordering coil packs but when he looked at my sparkplugs he said why did you put in autolite plugs.
should i change my plugs even if i changed them 3 months ago?
could installing plugs wrong cause damage to other parts of the car?

CEL flashing means do not drive it, there is a major problem with you car
the power of the motor is cut as well by the engine management system to prevent further damage thus the shaking and rough idle. Read your manual

hum, pop your hood, take the coilpacks out.
most likely one will look toastier than the others.
if not go to your VW dealership and buy 1 coilpack (roughtly $40 last I checked)
start swapping until it works.
If you want to just get a whole set and swap them that works too.
Oh, and dont put you engine cover back on.
I havent had one fail since I removed mine.
if you havent chaged the plugs in a couple oil changes do that too.
cant remember off the top what plugs to use.
VW guys like coppers
if not go to your VW dealership and buy 1 coilpack (roughtly $40 last I checked)
