All Season Tire for Northern Cal Driving
Audi tech at local dealer suggests I get Michelin All Season M+S, says Audis run great on Michelin tires.
Tirerack therefore suggests MX4 or MXV4 based on my statement that I want an all season tire and I need to go to the snow (Lake Tahoe) in snowstorm weather about 4 days per year.
I looked around at comments at epinions.com and people seem to HATE these Michelin tires.
In which case, who's right, and what tires should I buy? As you can tell, I am not a savvy car person. :-) Initially I had a set of winter wheels and a set of summer wheels, and, quite frankly, that is not for me.
I just want to have one set of wheels and one set of tires, and be able to get through chain control at Donner Summit/Tahoe on the days when there is chain control. (Again, this is about 4-6 times per year for me.)
