HELP! rear brake pad swap/install
If anyone is so inclined, my phone is 919-498-6361 if anyone wants to call and help..
TIA for any help...
1 open the resivoir top and place a rag around the opening.
2 assure that there are no kinks in the brake hose.
3 apply pressure to the piston. 3 years ago when I put Redbox pads on I had a slight ridge on the piston. I had to use a C clamp DO NOT apply high clamping force!!! and keep rotating the piston. I had to as the piston retracted keep a slight force against the piston. If you have added fluid to the brake system watch the possible overflow. The fluid makes sort of a mess.
Good luck.

I had to use alternating c-clamp and spanner wrench to turn. I am indebeted to Craig for his help there as he was able to apply more force than I was to the them to retract.
