Just had my tires rebalanced with the Hunter GSP 9700 machine
I've been driving around for a few weeks with my 17" Ace Lolas and slightly used Bridgestone RE040's. There has been a slight shudder at various speeds in between 65-80 mph. I tracked down a local tire place with the Hunter GSP 9700 and had the tires "dynamically" balanced.
I have only driven the car briefly on the highway but it definately feels better.
The place that did them is Freedman Tire in Edison, NJ. This guy Jake (I believe he is the owner) was very helpful and gave me a step by step of how they use the machine. It has a lot more features than a typical wheel balancer.
He has a RennTech and has had some interested sounding BMW's including a turbo M5. I started asking about some A4 stuff he told me to contact Rob at UUC because he has done work with them.
If anyone has any problems with tire balancing this seems to be the route to go.
