Anyone have the Bridgestone RE 950s?
Car 1) RE950 new
Car 2) Shaved and perhaps heat cycled (to simulate a worn tire) Michellin or Yokohama tires (don't remember which now) - comparibly priced
Car 3) RE950 shaved to simulate #2
These tires don't match UHP tires, but relative to each other #1 and #3 felt very comparible. As you know, tires tend to lose their wet performance grip as the age. #2 felt down right dangerous (but fun in someone elses car). Car #1 and 3 were recoverable even if you overcooked the corners. The dual compound worked well in this environment.
No comments about dry handling
I drove on them last year in our test below- read up & call me if you would like ot discuss or want them shipped!

950 test
