Toyo Proxes T-1S Vs. Potenza S-03?

I am trying to decide on which tire to get, i can get the toyo's locally for $200 a tire, the S-03's will have to be ordered from tire rack, but they are back ordered

which tire is a better tire in the 235/40/18 size?

which has better wet weather traction? dry traction?

any help would be great

BTW: I have sumitomo HTR Z II right now, will either one of these tires provide better performance?

I would think that either one will outperform your Sumitomos ...

One point I've read about the S-03s is that they are designed in a way that even when you have very little tread left, they still have good wet traction. I'll confirm that when I get there ;-)

You'll love the grip and comfort of the S-O3's, but the noise is rediculous.

Ridiculous compared to what? I find them only slightly noisier than my stock P6000s...

but not "ridiculous" by any means.

My S03's are a LOT quieter than my PZero Rossos. Not too bad at all, IMHO.

Potenza S-03's are noiser than dunlap 8000e I had..but

S-03's are NOT that obtrusive that would warrant not consideration. There probally are quieter tires but at the expense of handling. They are a bit stiffer at the plus one size, which translates into some more road feel and transmission of road imperfections.
