Victoracer V700's and Ecsta 710's questions...

Victoracer V700's and Ecsta 710's questions...
OK, The Solo season is gearing up up here and I am seriously considering gettign some of the Kumho Victoracer V700's (from searching found they should be shaved) to shod my stock rims. i.e. the size would be 225/45 R17. While at an SCCA function up here, got to talking with soem other members and the hot tire seems to be the Kumho Ecsta 710. However in my searching the 710 is not offered in the 225/45 17 size. Questions then, woudl the Victoracers be the best tire then for my applications? or are there other inexpensive alternatives to the new Ectsa 710?
