just came back from tire dealer: potenza g009 is fav so far. prices inside
went to local dealer during lunch:
bridgestone potenza g009 205/55HR16 for 129$ installed per tire with free rotating every 5k
kumho 712 89$ per tire 17$ for mount balance stem etc
kumho 716 85$ per tire 17$ for mount balance stem etc
conti touring contact 117$ per tire 17$ for mount balance stem etc
bridgestone turanza tires (cant remember $$) but didnt ask any further for some reason
dayton hr (subbrand of fstone/bstone) didnt persue that either
goodyear rsa 106$ per tire 17$ for mount balance stem etc
i like the bstone potenza i didnt like the reviews of the rsa tires. never heard of dayton either. i live in Northern VA so we do get snow sometimes and it rains a lot. so rain traction is a must for me.
the g009 a good choice?
