Avon Tech M550 A/S vs. Continental ContiExtremeContact
Avon Tech M550 A/S vs. Continental ContiExtremeContact ... looking for some 245/45-18 all-season tires for the a8. i've searched the archives and the contiextreme seem to be fairly popular. not too much discussion about the avon m550. wondering what are your thoughts with regard to these 2 tires that are priced about the same. or would you recommend another brand of all-season tires? thanks in advance for your help.

Very similar tirse in nearly every area based on our experience. The Avons are a very good value, I'd probably lean towards those slightly due to a bit lower price and they might be a bit quieter when worn compared to the Conti.
