I think I made the right decision by ordering the...........
I just got back from Bend, OR and I asked a Bend resident how much it snows and she told me very little, and the snow only lasts 1-2 days.
So, it looks like I will not have to buy snows. I will run the Exclaim's all winter long.
I will keep you posted once I move to Bend.
Good luck!
Sorry, I don't mean to be a pr1ck, but it's a more comfortable ride on snows when it is snowy. We probably get 75% of our annual precip during the winter months, and its also about 75% in the form of snow. Typically, the snow melts across the road lane and then freezes, leaving a nice spot of black ice. Add to that the Cali who just moved up from LA and is blasting through like it was July and you can see the problem.
For my info, what kind of tire are you running now and how much treadlife do they have left? You may be money ahead by keeping the summer tires and going with snows.

That said, if you're in snow country, there's really only one way to go: dedicated snows.
