Highway shimmy $600 fix that made it worse/different. Common solutions?
I bent an 18x8 OX superlegguera when I hit a New Orleans moon crater dead on. It bent outside lip of the rim even with the inside surface of the rim. The dent developed a linear crack 1/2in inside the dent, while still holding air. The wobble from the off balance rim/tire made me nervous. So I bought a new(but differnt)Ultraleggeura OZ rim to replace the old one, and two new tires for the front so that the treads would match. The new rim weighs nearly 1/2lb more than the other three. Now the vibration and up/down pulse is back, and a brake pulse added.
Is this part of brake in or am I damaging my car more now than before?
should I have all of the tires rebalanced?
Or do I have to buy 3 more rims to match the one new one.
Also, Where/how could I get the damaged rim fixed?

Get one more rim to balance the other (opposite side) and get a Roadforce Balance
Go to Stoney's Links (see my sig) and do a search on "Hunter". You'll find info in the roadforce balance system at the hunter site, including a dealer locator.
The Hunter system puts the tire under load while balancing. Cures many people's woes with respect to vibration/shimmy.
