Wheel Bolt Spray?
Hey guys,
I'm about to change my tires to winter tires and I heard I'm supposed to get some sort of spray for the lug ntus so they come off easier in the spring. What's the spray called?

Anti Seize, but *don't* do it.
Just google "anti seize and lug torque" and enjoy the reading...
Antiseize makes it nearly impossible to accurately torque the lugs. Its lubricating effects allow the lugs to be tightened further than they should be, which can lead to uneven torque among the studs, overtorquing, and potentially damage to the wheel or studs.

Check that.Ratings are for new clean threads.Anti-sieze overcomes increased starting friction...
that rust and corrosion cause. The two forces of corrosion vs lube cancel each other out to get back to the "clean" thread spec. Real-world is that rusted fasteners cause as much or more inaccuracy than smoothly torqued bolts with lube. Rarely do lab conditions of fresh new bolts with a spcific torque compare to the old rusted bolts on cars in a shop.
imo, this is a typical case of internet knowledge < practical knowledge.
For total accuracy, torque to spec w/anti-sieze and then loosen to the same spec to be sure.
