Help with UHP All season choice

Hello,

I am looking at ultra high perf all season tires. From what I can find the Pirelli P zero rosso M&S and Goodyear eagle F1 AS are the top two tires in term of performance. I live in nothern virginia (so mostly sunny, snow ever so often) and have an A6 4.2 s-line.

Am I missing some other choices? If not, which one would you pick between Pirelli and Goodyear.

I went with Goodyear ...

picking up my car tomorrow - I'll let you know how I like them on my new S4.

and you mean the P zero nero M&S not the Rosso which is a Max summer tire. Now, they do have a P zero Nero summer tire, too.

I just went with Yokohama Advan S4s for my allroad and so far I am pretty happy. Smooth, silent, hold nicely in the turns.. cheaper than some, but not cheap. Check 'em out...

If i had to choose, i would take the Goodyears. I don't have faith in Pirellis anymore...

Drove home with my GY F1's ...

they feel great so far, but really haven't been tested yet (car only has 30 miles)!!

My Yoko Advan S.4. are awesome, great on dry or wet roads ....

& quiet. The cornering & stability of the nineteens is superb. We are in the middle of our second serious snow today in Saint Paul. The allroad goes through snow with ease. The downside is the stopping & turning. Mine are wide 255/40/19 they tend to slide. The choice is 2 sets of tires or take it easy at times.
