New to Audi, Question about Winter tires

New to Audi, Question about Winter tires
Hi, I have always liked Audis and finally caved in & bought an 08 A6 3.2Q SLine Sports Susp, Sp interior & Seats, Tech, Navi,Premium, etc.. However I also got the 19" package with summer performance tires. Now since I am in Toronto, Canada, I will need winter tires. What should I get? I do not know much about tires, and I will be ok with 17 or 18". I really appreciate your help. Also a recommendation of where to get it would be great. Thanks

For snows, smallest wheel that will clear your brakes ( more)
1 go with 17s i would think.
2 you will need to find the tire size that matches your current diameter. It will likely be something like 245/45-17; 225/50-17 or thereabout.
3. There are many good speed rated winter tires. Among the best respected are Dunlop Wintersport M3s; Michelin Pilot Alpins; Vreedstein Wintrac; and Nokian, including maybe the WR "all season" winter tyre.

If you would like to go with great grip and save a buck, 16" should fit (more)

Go to tire rack and see what they recommend for snows for your car.
and go to the forum for your model car and see do a search on winter tires to read what others with your model recommend
