Opinions on Bridgestone Blizzak REVO 1's?
I'm looking at winter tire options. I've gone through two sets of Dunlop WinterSports M3's in the past few years and have been satisfied.
Tire Rack is clearancing these out for $66/ea. Compared to your Dunlops, the Revo1 tires will have better ice and snow traction but a step down in dry grip, cornering/handling and steering response. I used a set of Revo1 tires for two seasons on my 1997 A4 and was thrilled with them.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&url=/winter/index.jsp">winter</a></li></ul>

We'll see! I just bit the bullet and bought a set for my B5 Avant....
I am guessing I will not like them as much as my Nokians, but I bet the difference will be negligible. And for $312 to my door, how could I go wrong?

Really? I was hoping it wouldn't be as I am running 225/45R17 right now with just a little rub..
I guess I jumped the gun ordering the REVO's, but the deal was just too good. If they rub too bad on the sharp corners up to Baker, then I'll sell them. Oh well, thanks!
