Oh rats.....this is so dissapointing.....received 2 Peltor G77 from a buddy in Germany and can't use
them here in the US - it sucks!
Has anyone ever made an attempt to get foreign equipment certified by SCCA SA or Snell standards?
Peltor has the BS British Standard 6658 Type A/FR. It is listed along SA and Snell in the FIA regulation pages but apperently not accepted in the US.
Any advise would be much appreciated.
For all the Rally stuff you can buy here like OMP, Bell etc you'll have to equip the Intercom system (which is Peltor mostly), they don't come pre-installed. No big deal but it still sucks ;-)
