Allignment question......

What is the best allignment shop near Lawrenceville or around Atlanta. I don't want to go to the dealer since they charge to much. I tried NTB but they say they dont have the instruments for the Audi.

there's been several discussions about this already

and available in search queue. however, to give you some information i live in lawrenceville and have done my previous alignments at goodyear gemini on sugarloaf and 29. i also took in my ford beater to ?10tire? on sugarloaf and old norcross and the guy who did the alignment informed me that the inner tie rod on one side was gone and that i'd need to replace it. he told me this after he did the alignment and charged me the service. i never liked the outcome of goodyear and 10tire and the last one i did was at butler tire. i wasn't impressed with them either.

today i took our A6q to gran turismo at 3pm and despite the ghetto-looking shop and area the guys there are really polite and professional. he asked me if the car is used for daily driving or track which tells me they want to know their customers' preferences. they started work on it but discovered that one of the tie rod ends was done for and that they would rather do the alignment after this was fixed. that seemed really professional to me and i can't wait to see the end result. also many people from this board recommended them.

I didn't know this forum existed, I usually was on the C5 A6 forum

I thought I was the only one from Atlanta area on the C5 forum.

you NEED to go to an Audi dealer, unless it's a highly specialized private Audi shop.

The dealers are typically the ONLY places that have the proper equipment to align the Audi which can NOT be fully aligned on a traditional rack. Search.
