Default pulled the trigger on going stg III

I've been working up numbers and ideas on a big mod project for my a6 2.7t since I blew a turbo some weeks ago, and last week i pulled the trigger with Eurotech and AWE components. I visited them and handed over some $ today and was very pleasantly surprised to see they had started everything ahead of schedule. I didn't get a lwfw with the rs4 clutch kit because I didn't think I'd be happy with the noise. I got to see my stock 85k mile flywheel today and it is great -they were very upfront about that and didn't force me into an unneeded replacement. I did go with AWE downpipes because eurotech wasnt familiar or therefore comfortable with piggies, and they are warranting the work. It's quite a project. AWE stg3+fueling, downpipes, rs4 clutch, new timing belt/water pump (done already), diverter valves, new throttle body boot, o2 sensors..... just about everything. And the final touch - blackout taillights.
Now I need an RNS-E navi and I'll be in business. They say all the work could be done as soon as friday... would be pretty amazing.

CONGRATS! Did you get a Samco hose kit? If not, I would really recommend it. : >

No I didn't. The main one I was concerned about (debatable if youd call it a hose) is the TBB. I thought the samco looked stout, but Brian @ eurotech is convinced the new OEM piece has been sufficiently re-engineered to hold up to anything. I'm convinced he'll make it good if there are any issues, so I'm rolling that route.

Default Re: Congrats!

I have to pretend its bone stock and keep my foot out of it for the first 500 miles. So if I'm posting any excited reviews, scold me.

Default add motor mounts... RNS-E next?

they apparently found my mounts had turned to mush, so it was a good time to get some RS4 mounts too.. to they are headed in. I thought about that drivetrain stabilizer they were just doing a group buy on, but I concluded that with all these mods I wouldn't appreciate it anyway - better to add later if I feel some need for it somehow. It would be better if I could invest in some kind of diamondplate steel full chassis skidplate and something to dynamically vaporize curbs before my wheels make contact - I get a little tight on the parallel parking some times. I'm REAL tempted to order the RNS-E now, but I'm very wary it'll demand a TON of my time to install. Anyone tackled this yet?
