Sebring!
To Jon, Guy, Bob (ZGTT) and all those with whom I became acquainted, thanks for a memorable Sebring experience. Eric and his Audi Motorsport Experience team (including the lovelies!) made us welcome, and we all had a grand time (except for watching Audi get shuffled by Penske!).
Stories-
- What happens at Turn 10, stays at Turn 10.
- Being the "brute force" of chalet security was interesting. Amazing what people will try and do to get "in". I suspect the a/c in the crapper makes a difference.
- Escort gave away a a 9500Ci complete! Try that on your basic site pass and general parking!
- Audi gave away lots of great swag, hot pit tours (you shoulda seen the smiles) and plenty of great food. The video was always live, and we all enjoyed the hospitaltiy and meeting new friends and old.
I cannot say enough about the event. The orchestration went well, and Jon worked tirelessly to keep volunteers rotating and working.
Having done this at Petit Lemans, I learned some things to apply to our next experience.
Best insight:
We'll be back next year. Florida did a great job!

Maybe... I don't know if I can talk about that on here.
It might not sit well with some of the other members. I'll bring it by the shop in the next few days and show you what I've gone and done. I'm still keeping the 2.7T though.
