This is the final call for the group cruise from Toronto to Ottawa. As I will be paying for the security in advance for the cars, I want to make sure we have enough people coming before this is done. In order to make sure the event does proceed, we will need at least 15 registered and paid vehicles by March 31st. For those of you that don't know the full details on the cruise, here they are:

The cruise will leave at 12 noon May 3rd, from Colossus in Woodbridge and head from there to the 401, over to Oshawa where we will stop for fuel (I know some of you are running REAL rich) And then on to Peterborough where we will stop for a small break. From there, we will be going along a variety of country roads (not hwy 7) all the way to Ottawa. I am not posting the route to prevent any unnecessary police presence.

I anticipate arrival time of 7-8PM. From there we will stop at the parking garage across the road from the hotel to unload our luggage (if any), and check in to the hotel. There is parking in the hotel, but it is $10/day and they would not reserve space for us. Both are indoor, but the one across the road is cheaper for you. From there you are encouraged to disperse and get something to eat. At this time you will be downtown Ottawa and there will be a variety of stores to choose from.

Several Ottawa area car clubs are organizing a large meet and chill the same day, as well there is a group from Montreal that will be coming up the same weekend to meet us. The meet will begin around 9PM and directions will be provided. We would like to cruise over in a group, but it is up to you.

The next morning we will have a quick meet in the banquet hall just to discuss the cruise back and answer any questions that have arose. You can get breakfast whenever you feel like. I believe we are receiving some sort of a discounted rate for this as well ($5.90 for Continental and $10.00 for American, both including taxes).

In order to qualify for the discount accommodations, maps, etc. SJIRadio.com is charging $30. This will also cover the cost of security that is being hired to monitor our cars that night. As well we ask that everyone puts a SJIRadio.com sticker on there window somewhere, but its not required.

Details on Rooms:
We have 40 rooms available that are held, and more can be arranged if necessary:
20 - Standard One Bedroom Suites $109
12 - Deluxe One Bedrooms Suites $129
4 - Deluxe Studio Suites $119
