So i just got back from doing the Stoptech method of rotor cleaning and brake pad bedding...

At least that means i didn't waste my money on the new brake parts i ordered.

So i'm thinking of doing the install gtg/bbq at my house saturday june 14th? if not, it will have to be at the end of the month cause i leave for vacation on the 15th. Now where's this peteh fellow???
From what Stoptech told me, every pad leaves a deposit and that deposit builds up. So that is what typically causes that warped rotor feel.
Of course, if you have stock rotors, they may indeed be warped. The above process was meant for aftermarket rotors like Stoptechs. However in some cases it works with stock rotors and that shudder goes away....YMMV!

Also 70-75 to 5 mph is way to fast. 45 mph to 5 mph is the standard recommendation. You want to warp your rotors keep doing the 70-75.
Do 20-5 mph 3 times in a row, drive slow for 1 minute, and do 3 more at 30mph-5, again slow for 1 min, then do it again at 45mph-5. And you should be set. Drive slow for a bit and do not stop to let them cool off.
