2002 tt having strange electrical problems.
I own a 2002 Audi TT quattro roadster and it is having problems with the electrical system.
When I turn the car on it starts normally but when I turn on the headlights, my tachometer goes from idle down to zero and all my dash lights flicker slightly. Once the car has been running for 2 or 3 mins I hear a beeping sound and get a battery light on my dash. It has been pretty cold recently in VA but I have been driving it regularly and haven't had any sort of problems recently until now. I wonder if it is a problem with the battery or the alternator. I am 16 years old and do not have to much knowledge working on cars but hopefully with some help I can figure out what is wrong with the car. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
