2005 Model Changes?
Ok, I've heard all the rumours over that last year or so and seen quite a few "spy pix". Can anyone say what year the next generation TT will be out? I've done a moderate amount of searching and can't find anything recent (last 6 months or so). Is it still coming? I read a post a month or two ago regarding the Hungarian factory being closed.
If a new model is coming soon, why isn't there more buzz? The next A6 has been in the spotlight the better part of a year!
If no new model is coming any time soon, can anyone say what, if any, the 2005 model will offer? New colors, 6-speed manual for the 3.2, mp3, lavender baseball for coupes? Anything? Hello?

There were at least 4 posts this week about the recent Autocar article...
latest news is probably a 2007 model year released in late 2006 in the US. There won't be any real buzz about the next gen TT until it is unveiled at an auto show which likely won't happen until 2005 sometime.
I'm guessing no significant changes for 2005 tho. Maybe some new paint or interior options but that'd be it.

Satellite radio <i>may</i> be added as an option on '05s after the first few shipments hit these shores. The antenna is even weirder (if you can believe it) than the one on the A4, A6 and A8.

Thr antenna combines GPS, SatRadio and cell phone in a single unit. Because Audi...
...<font color="003366"> was planning on offering a choice of satellite radio providers the antenna had to encompass the requirements of XM, Sirius and a third provider that decided against getting into the business.
The TT antenna is different from the A4/A6/A8 unit. Both better and much MUCH weirder at the same time.</font>
