Default Adjustable Cam Gear instructions? BTDC=Advance=Clockwise?

I've got a AutoTech adjustable Cam Gear and...
<img src="http://www.autotech.com/images/products/16v_gear_a.jpg">

I want to adjust it by 1.5 degrees, BTDC, If I understand correctly this means that I will be Advancing the timing: Correct?
In order to do this to I turn the pulley Clockwise: Correct?

For those wondering I've got Lemmiwinks and know that the car can handle an extra 1.5. I'd just as soon add this first 1.5 manually, then I can adjust more with Lemmi if needed.

Default Correction the way I look at this I would turn the pulley counterclockwise?

If I assume correct as I rotate the motor clockwise if I wanted to add 1.5degrees before TOP Dead Center then I would need to turn the pulley counterclockwise?

Default Think I got the adjustable Timing Gear Figured Out

Adjustable Cam Gear: BTDC=Advance=turn sprocket Counterclockwise.

I want to adjust it by 1.5 degrees, BTDC, If I understand correctly this means that I will be Advancing the timing:

In order to do this I turn the pulley CounterClockwise: which causes the TDC Mark to move Backward on the clock, then when I line it up on the motor I will be aligning the TDC Mark on the sprocket with the TDC Mark on the valve cover which essentially causes the cams to be advanced clockwise by 1.5 degrees in front of their TOP dead center mark, thus I'll have advanced 1.5 degrees

Here's a similar gear that has A and R stamped on it.
Here's a quote "8.Loosen the five flange head screws in the slotted holes so that the plate can slide then relocate it to the position of your choice. With a large wrench on the center bolt that holds the sprocket on move the plate so the mark you are selecting is in alignment with the mark on the outer "Black" gear. Locating the timing mark on the black part of the sprocket from "O" Clockwise or to the "R" side of the sprocket "retards" the camshaft in single degree increments up to 10 degrees. Moving in the opposite direction "advances" the camshaft timing."<ul><li><a href="http://www.autotech.com/instructions/i109402.pdf">http://www.autotech.com/instructions/i109402.pdf</a</li></ul>
