Hello Im new to this forum and need a little advice please.
I have a 2001 TT and am replacing the airbag from a previous wreck, I purchased a VAG airbag reset tool also. I My question is do I realy need to take off the neg battery cable because I dont have the radio code. I heard there is a 9 volt memory loss tool for the lighter, but dont know if they actually work? and do I reset the airbag before or after I replace the bag?
Any help would be appreciated!

Call Audi get the radio code or buy a used one with a code.
