Default allwheel drive convertibles - thanks for the list Cameron . .

Well, maybe not this round, since the Carrera 4 seems like the best of the bunch, and outta price range. We're looking at a Volvo Cross Country instead. Still gotta drive an Allroad, although the missus is Audi gun-shy given how many times the TT's been in the shop. Had one very fine drive in a Volvo 850 over the Sierras in a white-out snowstorm . . . like nothing was on the road. Inspired great confidence.

Default I love my AWD Volvo. The Haldex is better system, but for snow my V70R did great!

I haven't driven a 2001 or 2002. I'm a 2000 model year V owner. Your subject line says convertibles I assume you mean wagons based on the content of your message?

I didn't realize it but there is an BMW 325xi wagon available as well. $0.02

I, personally, don't appreciate the new body style on the 2001+ V70.

And a caveat... in my experience, Volvo's depreciate VERY VERY VERY rapidly. You'd be better off finding a low-mileage, used Volvo. Just a thought. I purchased my V70R for around $40k. 9 months later I found out that I could MAYBE get $30k if I was willing to work at it. Dealers were telling me $28k. I was thinking about changing into an Acura MDX, but ended up deciding not to.
