Does anybody have a link that can guide me on replacing the alternator?

Great. Thanks. My car keeps dying if I don't drive it for a day, battery seems fine. Looking forward to taking a 2x4 to it... Thanks again.

That's not always an alternator problem.

You might have a low current drain on your battery. Check the current draw you should be at less than 50mA with everything off. The battery should last 4-6 weeks at that rate. If the current is higher check to see if something is staying turned on like a light bulb or the radio / amp. I had an ipod adapter that wouldn't go onto standby and took my battery down one a eek.

It's pretty easy to check an alternator, most auto parts places can do or just rev the car with a voltmeter attached. 13-14 volts when charging.
