Another JIT replacement...
2001 Golf 2.0L w/98.5K miles

3 bad pumps>>
But on my TT, the pump was leaking at the shaft, the plastic impeller was fine.
Out of 2 recent timing belt jobs on late model VW 4-cyl motors, both pumps had broken impellers. Not my cars though... just making a little extra TT East money on the side. =)
