Default ArmourFend

For Al _ OK OK OK I guess I got to post. I wanted more pix. But here we go.
.I am NOT a sales guy for ArmourFend - I could not get Invincashield/Stonegard (recommend by TT owners here on the website) installed around here but found theses guys.
RE: ArmourfendTM Paint Protection Film (BTW it's Made by 3-M too)
competing products Invincashield/Stonegard.

Facts car color is Silver -----ie: it is more forgiving than Black.
Total Cost is 500-600 depending on what you choose to cover. They can cover ANYTHING.
I chose to cover anything that can be hit by flying debris from a car/truck in front of you.
The entire front, including Headlamps. & a 3 inch strip on the hood.
Specifically
1. the wells where the door handle are (fingernail scratches)
2. Both Side Mirrors
3. Hood
4 Grill
5 Font end Bumper
6 Headlights
7 Front Wheel arches
I plan to add the sills where feet are dragged across pulling them into the car and along the outer edge of the doors and where the TT wheels will throw dirt onto the Body.
Looks great on Silver Impossible to tell from the front except a couple of edges. During dusk the 3 inch strip in the hood you can see the line. I found it bothersome at first, & could have it removed but I am now at ease with it considering the alternatives (Bras damage paint) chips would be more painful. BUT this hood strips disappears in bright lite! Pretty cool.
The Headlamps are a different issue. On a clear lens you cannot tells where it is. On the TT's smoky lens proves more difficult. The first attempt looked crappy. It was cheerfully redone. The 2nd attempt, the r is great, the left still need time to cure (the stuff needs 72 hours to cure & clear . Though it a can never be Perfectly clear , I find it quite acceptable. If it does not match the L I will have the redo again.
Here is the Best part, the president, Joe Kane never tried to Y me out of having it redone.
He wanted to please me the customer. I appreciate this.
He never tried to pressure me to buy ArmourFend. I appreciate this.
If you do not like it, they remove it. No charge for anthing. I was always able to talk to him when I called. If he was not there he called back in a timely manner. I appreciate this.
Did not CHARGE my credit Card until Job was finished.
I have a feeling on a black TT would be tougher ,job but these guys want to please,
I am very happy,,, I look at my cousins beautiful Alpha Romeo and it's road damage, The "line" on the hood is a very small comprimise. Can you see it in the picture ? ArmourFend will be at Milford at the TT rally AUGUST 14 In Milford CT.
ArmourFend @ 1888 654 7633 ask for Joe Kane. They have shops from Maryland to Boston.
I will get more pics tomorrow.
As the years pass, I will be more & more pleased, no chips on my glorious car.
The headlamps lens will never start to cloud up due to the sand paper effect. When one considers that "Bras" damage the Paint & do not protect headlight lens, these products, ArmourFend , Invincashield/Stonegard are the best thing going.
Rik

ArmourFend
