Audi TT MK1 1.8T Making Weird Turbo Whine (Help Needed)
I have my TT for two years now.
After a while it started making the exact noise that this video shows:

The noise is as loud as in the video when the car is cold and only audible at very low pressure, when it spools the sound gets lost. When the car/turbo warms up it gets quieter and sometimes disappear.s It doesn't lose boost, keeps it at 0.8 bar.
I recently left it for serious repairs (changed almost everything cause it was burning oil and is old/not taken care of).
My turbo turned out cracked at the exhaust side, so I thought that was where the sound was coming from.
With the new turbo and internals placed the noise was gone and recently it came back in the exact same fashion. The new turbo cannot be cracked, because it's been driven without any revving and hard boosting. Have anybody else encountered this scenario and what was the fix?
