Baseball Interior?

ok..so I've gotten mixed reviews on this..

I'm FINALLY getting to get my first TT this monday..

I'm debating the baseball leather interior, but I'm getting mixed reviews on the interior in terms of how it looks over several years. Anyone have any thoughts? I saw an 01 with 40k miles on it and it looked pretty good, but from what i gather, the car wasn't outside a whole lot..I'd like to get a better sample base of opinions...

The one parallel i was given was:
"think of an actual baseball glove; now think of that same baseball glove after pitching like 289374092873029 games"

I want something that'll last me a while and look good..i realize black hides a lot more, and anything else doesn't..

i'm debating between that and the reg. black leather..thoughts? (dolomite grey ext., so if you make suggestions, you know the ext. color)

I have baseball 60,000 miles 2+ years still looks great !!!!

wow....i would never guess that the car has 60k....

i can't really speak to the longevity of the baseball interior as i only put 14k on it over the course of a few years....but your pic shows that it ages well(i assume that you take care of it with lexol or an equivalent product).

I'm assuming you treat the leather. What/how often do you do it to last that long?

Got the baseball, wont regret it. Its actually the reason I got TT.

mine 2001, and still looks new.

Black leather in a Roadster will be hotter than hell !!

I have the Baseball 2001 Roadster and it never gets hot to the touch but the black will almost give you a blister. As for the quality of the leather just feel for yourself. The Baseball is thicker and the dye is all the way through. Both will show extra ware if you just toss yourself in like a big fat blob every time you get in. It's best to just ease yourself in and out and the leather will look good for many, many years.
You should wipe the leather off with a damp cloth every time you wash your car or once a week. I use a leather conditioner about every 6-8 weeks and some smell sooo good that you might use it more often.
I don't think you'll be sorry with the baseball int. , it makes the car that much more special.
