battery relocation question
if i relocate the battery to trunk, passenger side, would i be able to get away with removing the rear balast?
ive heard not to remove the big hunk of iron, but i thought that replacing that weight might be ok???
any help from some one who knows better would be apreciated!

The ballast also has to do with harmonic resonance of the car IIRC...
So I wouldn't bother removing it. Relocating the battery is also a PITA to do properly, and mostly a waste. If you need to, just get a lightweight battery like a Braille which is 11.5lbs or so.
