battery replacement

2004 tt 3.2: ready to replace my battery on my TT with 9v memory retainer, any down fall in doing this my self?? will this erase the radio and the engin management setup / program when I disconnect the battery??

Nothing will be erased...No worries if you use the Memory battery..

Your cigarette lighter plug...Like a small Motorcycle battery or a 9V harness designed for that, it will retain the memory of the Radio, cluster and ECU while the emain battery is removed for replacement or repairs...
