Boost Gauge installed with observations>>>
Regardless, once the boost gauge was installed (in the inside vent), with an Oil Temp and A/F gauge (in the Mantis) I felt the car finally had the compliment of gauges it should have come from the factory.
Regardless, this is about Boost. The TT has been running very strong, post BAMM install, and overall driveability has been excellent. The interesting observation, is that Boost really does not come on dramatically until you get to 3rd gear. That's when you start see higher boost levels in lower RPM's. 6th gear especially. What is especially interesting was how little time the car actually spends in a boost condition.
This was all new to me, as I have never had a car with a boost gauge, and was not really sure what to expect.
Anyway, Boost has spiked to what looked like 23psi (need to look where i am going too), then the car settles in around 19-20psi. It is very consistent, and very strong. I am almost afraid to build a BM and install it, as the balance is so nice. But i will build it anyway..of course. ;^)
So that is my story here on the this lazy (post Michigan LOSS to Ohio State)....just thought i would share.
