Default Boost problems

I have a 225 tt with an apr tune and r1 dv. However sometimes i boost 21 psi and sometimes i cant get above 15 for some reason...... the hoses are fine, what could be the problem?

do you have any codes, do you have a manual boost controller, have you pressure tested it?

taller gears = higher boost numbers....

i have reached 20 psi many times in all gears, this problem is not gear specific. i do not have a boost controller and i am not throwing any codes. i have not gotten it preasure tested, how much would that run me. A friend of mine told me it could be my n75 valve but i do know much about that subject.

Default if you are over 20psi in first gear on a stock turbo>>>

i would say that is abnormal.

Overboosting can be due to a bad waste gate or vacuum leak....

If you call APR, they will confirm what boost numbers should be in each gear...

i have an apr tune. it should be around 21psi. stock the ko4 sport is about 12 psi

Default but like i said...NOT in first gear...i run my setup pretty aggressively>>

and have a boost machine and 21psi does not show up until 3rd gear...

But if you want to argue it...have fun!

no argument here, but i have hit 21 many times in first gear, second gear, any gear. and thats not the problem anyways, its that i cant hit 21 in any gear anymore. i only hit 15. does no one have thoughts on that n75 valve?
