Definitely DOT4, not DOT3. I use Pentosin "SuperDOT4", they sell it at Autozone.

BTW the TT manual says replace brake fluid every 2 years, regardless of mileage.

Yea I agree definitely go with DOT 4 and they make actual power steering fluid for German cars at any auto parts store. I know there is a big debate over whether or not you need to use the actual stuff or if you can put any in but you only need to change it every 2 years so it’s worth the couple extra dollars to be safe than sorry in my opinion.
