Can changing out my DV to a Hyperboost throw a code or CEL?

Default Can changing out my DV to a Hyperboost throw a code or CEL?
Do I have to be worried about installing this today?

Default nah. plug-n-play
if, for some weird reason, you get a CEL. i'd double check your installment, then pull your ECU for 5 minutes and let it reset.

if CEL is persistent... hmm, well then that sucks =) check hoses again? shrug.

Default The DV is not an electronic component. Just three hoses
Boost in/out and a vacuum source

Oh, I know, but I meant should I reset the ECU so it can "learn" the new mod?

Default If the hose on top of the DV is loose - it may throw a code
Usually a lean fuel trim bank in cylinder 1 - so make sure all connections are tight

I had a CEL lit for weeks. Changed the DV & cleaned MAF. No more CEL!
