CEL flashing last night...extreme loss of boost...>>>
coming home last night shifting up through 3rd gear the car really hesitates as if a real low rev limiter kicked in. Immediately after, the CEL is flashing at about 3k on the tach. I just could not get any boost whatsoever. The car was holding back and no matter how hard I pushed the pedal, it would not increase in speed. It has not resolved itself overnight. I need help from the experts here please. Geez, I wish I had a VAG.Com to avoid taking it into the shop and paying the ridiculous diagnostic fees!

Great, very comforting, LOL! CEL is not flashing now, but it almost felt like not oil was in the engine. There is oil in it, but it almost felt like it was trying to freeze up.
