check engine light

I have had a check engine light on for the past month. I have brought the car into Audi 3 times, spent over $600 on a new MAF, hoses, clamps, and their outrageous labor since the labor is not coevered under my extended warranty. And once again - 2 days after I get it back home - that damn light comes on. The first time they said bad MAF. Then the hose came off the blow off valve. Then a large hose had a small pin hole in it. I feel like I'm getting the run around with Audi - any opinions on what I should do. The car runs fine. No hesitation, nothing - its just a non-blinking light.

What is the error code you're getting?

Undo the power cable from your car's battery for about 10 minutes and then hook it back up.

Sometimes the light will clear itself. Otherwise, get someone with a VAG-COM to read the code for you.

Not sure -I've had Audi do the work. I should probably get someone around Chicago that has a Vagcom to help me out....

Anyone have one in the Chitown area?
